Shane enjoys extracting physiological patterns inherent in many yogic styles and techniques. She provides students with knowledgeable instructions replete of functional biomechanics of human movement; laying out postural alignment map from the most basic to the more advance. Drawing inspiration from Anusara, Scaravelli, Ashtanga Vinyasa and more, her classes are informative and yet playful. She brings together spontaneous combination and flows that may be flowing or integrated, accommodating and yet challenging to all levels of students. She will lead you to explore and experiment with your body that will delight and surprise you.

Shane also works with individual with physical limitation and postural distortion. She uses the concept of myofascial anatomy and fascial meridians to bring about integrative relational connections of real life functional movement. With keen eyes on postural and movement patterns Shane constructs specific movement therapy session, with great accuracy and integration, appropriate for the specific pattern of each individual. Cerissa Nyen

Cerissa has always been passionate about all dance form with a history of study in ballet and belly dancing. Although, it wasn't until she first started Yoga 6 years ago that she discovered a more subtle and powerful dance of breath. It is through the study and practice of yoga that has inspired a daily exploration of balance between being buoyant and grounded. Not only in the physical body, but also the subtle body where Prana/life force pulsates and energizes, creating a sense equanimity in the body and mind. Having completed the teachers training program at Yoga Elements Studio in 2005, Cerissa has since been instructing Yoga. Appreciating how yoga can be applied to every aspect of life and integrated throughout every level our being, her classes allow students the freedom to explore the avenues of yoga, physically spiritually and emotionally.

nu
Nu in Hanumanasana

Nu worked for in advertising for 10 years, a materialistic way of life which made for high stress, a miserable mind and a physical sickness. She attempted to cure her self through sports, and healthy eating but nothing worked until she started routinely practicing yoga. She found health, focus, and peace of mind; life had clearly changed for the better.

“And as yoga profoundly drives me to be a happier person, yoga takes care of my life, and I became inspired to share yoga with others in return. Since taking the teacher training Program at Yoga Elements Studio, I have now taken teaching yoga as my profession. This has made me happier than I have ever thought and have become devoted to yoga for the rest of this life.”

George

George

George leads a practice based on Ashtanga vinyasa with his own unique style that is both fun and engaging. It's never the same class twice, and there are plenty of fresh experiences.  His lessons in asana and yogic science will bring you into a deeper and happier relationship with your body, and the space around you.

When George began Yoga he quickly realized it's transforming powers. He is another true story of how it inspired great health and happiness for being. After just two years of self practice and attending classes he joined Yoga Elements for the teacher training under Adrian Cox. Since the enlightening course, he has been teaching around Thailand and in the U.S. to share what he has learned.

Tonia

Tonia

A former financial consultant, Tonia began her yoga practice in 2004 and has never looked back.  For her, Yoga is a form of moving meditation - it improves overall well-being, stills the mind and cultivates self-awareness – all with the added bonus side-effect of keeping healthy.

Although Tonia’s personal practice is in the traditional Ashtanga practice, she has studied different styles of yoga and has successfully integrated many aspects of the traditional practice with the other styles of yoga into the teaching of her Vinyasa classes.  Her classes are highly energetic, challenging, fun and creative, while at the same time they incorporate the essential alignment details and techniques for injury prevention.

Tonia continues to be a keen student of both Yoga and Yoga philosophies and has been fortunate to study with various senior teachers in the Ashtanga tradition, Anusara, Yin yoga, Jivamukti amongst others both in Thailand and overseas.  She completed the Yoga Alliance certified 260+ hour Teacher Training course at Yoga Elements Studio with Adrian Cox in 2008, which covered anatomy, ayurvedic medicine, yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama and yoga instruction.

All of our instructors are certified under the Yoga Alliance certified 260+ hour Yoga Elements teacher training program!
